Description
The EIB450 is powered for life (>10 years) intuitive remote controller for RadioLINK wireless fire and CO (carbon monoxide) alarm systems. It is completely wireless and can be wall mounted or free standing. In standby the alarm system can be easily tested by just pressing the button. This will test and sound all the alarms. When the system is activated the triggering alarm can be identified (located) by simply pressing the button. Once identified it may then be silenced by pressing the button again. The EIB450 will identify the triggering alarm and indicate if it is a fire (smoke or heat) or CO (carbon monoxide) alarm by flashing the appropriate icon. An EOL (end of life) icon will flash to indicate that the EIB450 has reached the end of its useful life (>10 years). The diagnostic mode allows an extended two minute test to be selected. It also allows a previously triggered alarm to be identified, this is also known as the memory feature. The EIB450 may be wall mounted or free standing to facilitate easy removal for walk round tests. In applications where security is an issue the EIB450 can be fixed to the wall mounting with two levels of tamper proofing to prevent unauthorised removal.
