Description
Smoke Alarms are designed to detect smoke particles in the air. However, other airborne particles i.e. steam, cooking fumes, dust etc, can also cause a Smoke Alarm to generate false alarms.
BAATLS
With interconnected smoke/heat alarms, when one alarm senses smoke/heat, all alarms will sound.
The BAATLS controller has 3 functions:
- Remote testing of all interconnected alarms using the TEST button
- Identifies the originating alarm fire signal using LOCATE button
- Silence all alarms using the SILENCE button
The BAATLS is designed to be used in conjunction with the 3000*, 140RC* and 160e* Series alarms.
*Requires EIBPLATE for 3000, 140RC and 160e Series alarms.
